Jeep® and Dodge Vehicle Sales Up in June

June produced a number of milestones for Chrysler Australia with a total of 914 Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge registrations, a 17.8 percent increase over May. This excellent result positions Chrysler Australia in second place behind China as the largest market outside North America for Chrysler Group LLC.

There were significant highlights across the Chrysler Jeep Dodge range with strong results from Grand Voyager, 300C, Cherokee, Grand Cherokee and Avenger.

Chrysler
Grand Voyager sales have gone from strength to strength this year and last month was no different. Grand Voyager sales increased by 24 percent over the previous month and last month’s figure was the best result for the now segment leading Grand Voyager in over two years.

Not since July last year has the Chrysler 300C achieved a result over 100 vehicles, last month 105 were sold which marked a 24 percent increase over May.

Sebring Sedan had its best result in over 12 months and Sebring Cabrio achieved its best result this year, combined they contributed 75 vehicle sales.

Jeep
Not only did last months Jeep Cherokee result mark the current models best month since launch, but with 169 vehicles sold in June, it was also the Cherokee nameplates best month in over two and a half years.

Last month Grand Cherokee sales were up 64 percent month to date and Commander also lifted over last month with 30 vehicles sold. A strong month from both vehicles with CRD models dominating sales.

Jeep Wrangler sales were up over last month with 152 vehicles sold in June, which is the best month for Wrangler this year.

Dodge
The Dodge brand is up 20 percent year to date with Avenger leading the charge in June. Journey sales and enquiry continue to be strong with demand outstripping supply due to production restrictions.

Brand Results
Jeep (up 2 percent) and Dodge (up 16.5 percent) were both up in June, with Chrysler (down 23 percent) making some ground and up on last month. Combined Chrysler Jeep Dodge sales were up 17.8 on May and 4.3 percent down year to date.
